Owen Vuyk ( Current Sponsors - GP Engines and CMC Hobbies)
I've been flying radio controlled planes since 2006 and got my first large scale plane in 2008. Since then I've mainly flown aerobatic planes of various sizes and focused on 3D flying. In 2014 i started practicing IMAC in the hope of improving my flying and soon after I entered my first Large Scale Aerobatics competition in the Sportsman class. In 2016 I also started focusing on XA Aerobatics and freestyle. I'm proud to be part of the CMC hobbies and GP model engines team for the 2019 season.

Clive McInnes ( Current Sponsors - GP Engines, G-Force pilots and CMC Hobbies)
I have been flying R/C aircraft for more than 30 years. I have been active in competitive R/C flying for approx 14 years now, competing in many R/C disciplines at National level, such as Pylon Racing, Pattern flying, Large Scale aerobatics and even Sport Scale for fun. in all disciplines i have achieved regular placings in the top 3 positions over the years. Currently my main focus is Large Scale aerobatics ( IMAC, F3M and 3D or freestyle flying). I am extremely grateful to GP Engines for the opportunity to not only be the SA distibutor for their fine engines, but now to represent them as a sponsored pilot again for the 2019 Competition season.

Gareth DeLange ( Current Sponsor - CMC Hobbies)
Gareth is our youngest pilot, but we see good things yet to come from him.
At just 14 years old and after only flying for 2
years he is already climbing the ranks in the competition scene in South
Africa. Having started flying IMAC just over a year ago he went on to win the
Sportsmans class at the 2017 South African Nationals on a plane he had
flown for less than a month. Since the Nationals in April this year he has
climbed through 2 classes and is currently flying in the Advanced class. He is
already leading the KZN Advanced class for 2017 with just one comp to go.
Gareths aspirations go further than R/C flying - he is already doing Full size flying and his goal is to become a commercial pilot.
