We now accept card payments via snapscan
Step 1. Snap. -
Download the snapscan app - Open SnapScan and use your phone’s camera to scan the snapCode displayed at the checkout, on your bill or on screen.
Step 2. Pay. -
Enter the amount you want to pay and confirm payment with your 4-digit PIN.
Step 3. Go! -
That’s it. You’re done! We will receive sms notification of your payment.
Shipping
-COURIER SHIPPING RATES are to Bigger Town centres. If you live miles from any main centre and wish for us to courier your goods to you, please choose 'Pickup from Store' and under 'Instructions' request a courier quote. We will gladly get a quote and send it to you right away. If you are in any of the Major towns, you can choose the courier option and we will use Either Fastways or Courier Guy depending on the size and weight of the parcel. The Maximum parcel weight is 40Kg. Should you choose the wrong shipping option we will contact you and advise you of the best method of getting the parcel to you.
All items will be packaged and despatched within 48 hours of Payment clearing in our bank account. If you pay and copy the proof of EFT to us - WE WILL ENDEAVOUR to get it shipped sooner to you, but please understand it is not always the case and the normal 48 hours period must be allowed for. We do understand that sometimes its not easy to know which shipping option is best for you to choose. Should you choose the wrong shipping option we will contact you and advise you of the best method of getting the parcel to you.

INSURANCE on shipped goods - please note our standard shipping cover only entails R1000 basic cover. For added shipping insurance please choose the option to add Insurance at checkout to ensure your parcel is fully covered up to the value of the goods being shipped.

Free shipping on orders from R3500,00 to - Joburg, Pretoria, Rustenburg, polokwane, Westonaria, Randfontein, Klerksdorp, Bloemfontein, Nelspruit, East London, PE, Plettenberg bay, George, Mossel Bay, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Cape Town ( max parcel size 15kg, actual weight or volumetric weight)
FREE SHIPPING does not apply to items already on special.
Fastway Couriers - Zone A covers the following areas - Joburg, Pretoria, Rustenburg, Polokwane, Westonaria, Randfontein, Klerksdorp, Bloemfontein, Nelspruit, East London, Port Elizabeth, Plettenberg bay, George, Mossel Bay, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Cape Town. Maximum parcel weight is up to15kg
Fast way Couriers - Zone B covers all of Pietermaritzburg, howick through to Durban, all towns north to Richards Bay and South of Durban to the Wild Coast. Maximum parcel weight is up to15kg
The Courier Guy - Major centres are : Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, East London, George, Johannesburg, Kimberley, Ladysmith, Nelspruit , Polokwane, Port Elizabeth, Potchefstroom, Pretoria, Welkom, Witbank
The Courier Guy - Outlying areas - ALL OTHER AREAS will be classed as outlying areas.
Postnet - we can also ship via postnet on request - but these orders will only ship on a Tuesday and Thursday.
Own Courier to Collect - of course you are welcome to use your own courier to collect, just select 'Pickup from Store' and we will pack the parcel and have it ready for your courier when they arrive.
PLEASE NOTE : Courier costs vary greatly to all outlying areas across South Africa. In order to give you the best shipping rate to these areas, please place your order online or CALL US and request a shipping quote. Should you choose a shipping option that is not suitable we may call you to discuss the best option and costs available to you prior to shipping your order.
Other Terms & Conditions :
No items will be shipped prior to full payment reflecting in our bank account. ALL orders take a minimum of 24 hours to be processed and packed. Please note if your own courier is collecting we cannot always dispatch items the same day.
Reservation of stock - no stock is reserved for any customer until it is paid for in full. Stock is live on our website and can be ordered at any time online, once paid for the item / items are reserved.
Pricing is subject to change without notice due to the fluctuating exchange rates.
Shipping expenses to and from CMC or their suppliers are not covered under the CMC or Manufacturers warranty and are for the clients costs.
Payments -
Please ensure when paying any invoices the correct AMOUNT is paid as per invoice, Any overpayments greater than R10 will be held in Credit. PLEASE NOTE - Due to bank costs etc we are unable to REFUND or CREDIT any amount LESS than R10. If the amount is over R10 and you require a REFUND, the overpayment less any Bank Fees will be processed usually within 2 weeks.
Dealers -
ALL Dealer orders / payments are to be paid by bank transfer only
Returns
All returns are at the discretion of CMC hobbies and items must be in their original condition and packaging. A restocking /admin fee of 10% will apply, shipping is not refundable. All items must be returned within 10 days of receipt of goods and it is the customers sole responsibility to ensure we receive the goods within the 10 days.
International Customers
*Please note that we cannot guarantee any shipping or delivery time frames, Where Overnight / Express shipping is chosen we will book on an overnight service.
Whilst we do supply and fulfil worldwide orders, all International customers outside of SA must make themselves fully aware of any Import charges, VAT, Customs or other fees their country may impose on incoming parcels. CMC Hobbies DO NOT collect VAT on international orders and take no responsibility for any Additional charges once the Parcels have been shipped from our premises. The costs of carrying out all the necessary import formalities are expressly excluded. These are borne by the buyer, meaning that all taxes, VAT or Duties incurred when importing to the country of destination must be paid by the buyer or the recipient irrespective of the value of the goods. Any goods sent to a local SA address or collected by the buyers own courier will attract SA VAT as these will not be deemed to be exported. All Export arrangements are then the responsibility of the buyer.
If an item has been lost in transit, we may not despatch a replacement item or Refund immediately. Replacement items will be despatched at our discretion or subject to availability, once all tracking and investigative avenues have been exhausted. This may include waiting up to 30-45 days from despatch for undelivered mail to be returned to us, depending on the delivery country
